Sleepout to raise funds for shelter – The Carillon Sept 11. 2014

It’s almost time to fill the K.R. Barkman Park with men and women from the business community for the annual CEO Sleepout in Steinbach. Over 60 people have already registered to raise funds for the local homeless shelter and spend a full night in the outdoors, learning more about homelessness in the community.
The event will raise awareness while raising funds toward a capital campaign to purchase the local shelter which is currently owned by private citizens who wish to remain anonymous.
