Dennis was living in the Morris area when he became homeless. He had heard about Today House so made his way to Steinbach. When asked why he didn’t go to Winnipeg when he first became homeless where there are more resources available his answer was – ” I felt so isolated in my situation that I knew that if I went to Winnipeg having lived all my life in the country I would feel even more isolated even if I was in a city where there are lots of people.”
